RSV Productions Case Study

RSV Productions is owned by serial entrepreneur Steve Velte. In 2009, he launched his latest invention, a magnetic board game called Jishaku.

After working with one agency for a few months, Steve saw some media coverage of the new game, but not enough. So, he turned to Asylum for help. Within 6 months time Jishaku was featured in over 400 media outlets including major features during the holidays in Family Circle magazine, the Chicago Tribune and Newsday. The game was also featured on national syndicated television shows like Better TV, Daytime TV and First Business.

From the successful sales generated by the media campaign for Jishaku, Steve was able to launch a second game called Scruble Cube. Often referred to as a cross between Scrabble and the Rubik’s Cube, the Scruble Cube received instant national media attention appearing on a Today Show gift guide segment, as well as in features in Family Circle magazine, the Washington Post, Forbes and WIRED magazine’s Geek Dad.
