One month after beginning work with Asylum, Looftlighter made its U.S. debut in one of the biggest ways possible, with a feature in the New York Times. Instantly sold out, this unique grill lighter rapidly became a hit with BBQ retailers and consumers nationwide. Over 500 retailers were taking note of the media frenzy and carrying the product within the first year of business.

Building from this initial launch, Asylum has secured the Looftlighter features in other prestigious publications including: WIRED, This Old house magazine, Family Circle, Coastal Living, Woman’s World, Tailgater magazine, Reader’s Digest.
